In the English Premier League, Manchester United have guaranteed a place in the UEFA Champions League next season, after beating Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium.
The Red Devils needed a point from their final match of the season to finish in the top 4, and managed to break the deadlock when Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes converted a VAR awarded penalty in the 71st minute.
The victory was confirmed after substitute Jesse Lingard capitalized on a mistake from Kasper Schmeichel to put the ball into an empty net in stoppage-time.
Man United can now focus on the 2nd leg match against Austrian club LASK in the Europa league round of 16.
